Camila Carolina Romero was born in the Atlantic Forest in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, is a Kaingang native, resident of the Laklãnõ Xokleng Indigenous Territory, and is currently studying and working in Philadelphia. Mila is an artist, traditional healer, birth worker, holistic massage therapist, herbalist, and student of ethnobotany.
