“Immigrant Mothers Tell Their Stories” is a feature documentary about the challenges that immigrant women of color face through pregnancy and various stages of motherhood. Blending a poetic and vérité style, the film connects the director’s journey to the experiences of other Black and Brown immigrant women navigating motherhood away from home.
