Jennifer Hernández-(She/her) is a Dominican bilingual reporter in Philadelphia. Born in a small town on the East side of the Dominican Republic, Jennifer migrated to the United States at eight years old, which sparked her passion for mastering the English language, ultimately leading to her writing career.

As an avid bibliophile, Jennifer always looks for the next best read. She is currently the Program Manager at ¡Presente! Media. Previously, Jennifer was a reporting fellow at Al-Bustan News Service, covering SWANA experiences. Before that, she worked as a reporter in AL DÍA's Journalism Lab on Higher Education, where she extensively covered the experiences of Latino students across the U.S. as they navigated college, post-graduate studies, and careers.

She holds a bachelor's and master's degree in Creative Writing and English from SNHU and will graduate with an MBA in entrepreneurship in 2025.
