Melanie Silva (she/her) - Melanie is a storyteller with a global perspective, having lived in three different countries and experienced three different cultures. Originally from São Paulo, Brazil, Melanie moved to Philadelphia, PA, at six years old. After completing her Bachelor’s Degree in Film and Media Arts at Temple University, she relocated to Mexico City, where she lived for 12 years, working as a video editor for MTV Latin America. In 2017, Melanie returned to Philadelphia, where she lives with her family, has her own production company with her partner Davecia Horton, and is producing her debut documentary “Dear Sofia”. Melanie’s global experiences have shaped her storytelling, making her a versatile and adaptable professional. She has been collaborating with Inti Media as a producer and field producer, bringing her global perspective to her work.
